A sign you’re growing in grace: You mentally rehearse the gospel more than you rehearse other people’s failures.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You linger longer at meals & in conversations, and you hide & isolate less.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You look into other people’s eyes more than you stare at a computer screen & IPhone/iPod.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You’re beginning to believe God delights in you AND in those in whom you find no delight.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You don’t tell mother-in-law jokes or use the phrase “low maintenance wife”.
A sign you’re growing in grace: Now, when you feel disconnected from God, you don’t default to penance but run to Jesus.
A sign you’re growing in grace: Your ability to “read people quickly” is now owned as a habit of judging too quickly.
A sign you’re growing in grace: Though gossip still tastes like honey to you, you treat it like radioactive toxic waste.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You’re less a mess when people criticize you and less impressed when they flatter you.
A sign you’re growing in grace: Humility from your justified status is deconstructing the hubris of your critical spirit.
A sign you’re growing in grace: When you ask yourself, “Can I afford this thing?”, you’re not thinking about money.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You can actually leave your cell phone in the car when on a lunch date with friends.
A sign you’re growing in grace: The word “liturgy” is no longer a four-letter word to you.
A sign you’re growing in grace: Your follow through on promised prayers and returning calls is better than ever.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You can enjoy Mozart AND Mumford and Sons.
A sign you’re growing in grace: You don’t use theology, like alcohol, to try to numb your pain or control your world.
