   There is no part of the Gospel that is not an answer to the evil in our world.

   Just a thought:
   I would, in your original definition, include the INCARNATION as a part of the Good News. In doing this, you would resonate with millions and millions of other Christian people for whom the event of the Incarnation is a huge part of the Gospel story.
