Acts 29 Bob Thune is also the nephew of Senator John Thune from South Dakota.

My family and I have been using it in family worship for a while. Although my children are getting to the age where they can sit through a passage from the actual Bible, we still return to Lloyd-Jones’s book at least twice a week. I think perhaps my favorite feature of the book is how Lloyd-Jones always finishes a story from the Old Testament with a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ. That’s so helpful to teach young children that the stories of the Old Testament are still relevant and that God’s purpose of redemption reaches through the ages.
