I think this was your best post ever. My heart breaks for them, but I agree with their decision. I would have done the same thing. They had five days more with him than they would have if they choose to kill him before he was born.
Thank you Timmy.

As one who has had to go to that second ultrasound, I wept for this couple. Our results were “no visible defects” but we were prepared to be where this couple was. Who can watch this and not be moved?
Thanks Tim,
KJ

Thomas was fearfully and wonderfully made. May God give you comfort in the joy you had with him; and with your future daughter.

Powerful video. A couple in our church are currently going through a pregnancy with a son who has been diagnosed with Trisomy 18, and another couple here had their daughter and son in law go through the same thing a couple of years ago with their son Eliot. The video for their story can be found at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=th6Njr-qkq0 and it’s very moving as well.
A true testament to love for a child, even one sure to die. Thanks for posting this.

Thank you so very much for posting this. How gracious of God to let them fall asleep and not have to watch Thomas’s last painful moments. I am so glad that they chose life for their little boy and that God has chosen to bless them again with another child.
