Happy Birthday Nolan!
This time one year ago, I was sitting in the labor and delivery room watching the contraction meter anxiously awaiting the birth of our precious little boy. The journey as a father and the beginning of our family has been an incredible ride! I will never forget the first seconds of seeing Nolan, and I pray that ever look since then has been and will continue to be filled with gratitude to God, love for my son, and joy in my heart.
I thought I’d share ten of my favorite photos from this past year. Thanks to all of you who have been so fun, supportive, and encouraging over the past year!

Happy Birthday Nolan! Mommy and daddy love you very much!

Great photos! (Though I take exception to the last one…)
I can’t believe Nolan’s only just turning a year old- I’d forgotten how many months Christian was older than him.

Dude,
You’re in Florida now. Let your son grow up to be a part of the Gator nation. That way his friends will assume he can read when they see him sporting his favorite team’s gear.
Go Gators!

Chris,
There are two teams in the SEC that wear orange and blue. They are our mortal enemies. I’m teaching him that, when he sees those colors on people, to think of them as a burp cloth.
Merry Christmas!

That’s a good looking son, in spite of the uniform.

Thanks Chris!
BTW, your book on forgiveness is excellent. I look forward to interacting with it and using it in ministry. Thank you for your labors and insight on this important subject.

Happy Birthday Nolan, and congrats on baby #2 Timmy. Timmy I love you and hope to get to chat with you soon. I have a prayer request my sister in law had to be rushed into emergency brain surgery last week and as we speak she is sitting in a doctors office in Nashville awaiting the next steps in her battle. Tell Dusty I said hello.

Shawn!
What’s going on brother?! Man, I just recommended you guys to some churches to bring their kids up there for camp. I really enjoyed the Old School video montage. Nicely done!
Thanks so much for the congrats and well wishes for Nolan and baby Brister #2. We love you guys as well and have no excuse for our lack of correspondence! I will be praying for your sister in law. Please keep us informed on her situation. May God steady you in His sovereign purposes and good graces. Grace and peace.
