Saturday is game day in the Brister family. Today #8 Bama takes on #3 Georgia at 7:45 p.m. on ESPN. My prediction? 24-21 Bama.
On more important news of note, my father turned the big 6-0 yesterday, so I want to give a big shout out to the old man, my best friend, my dad. The more I look at my son and see where I was almost 30 years ago, the more I realize how awesome my father has been to me every day, without exception, in my life. Happy birthday Dad!
Speaking of Nolan, he had his nine month appointment this past week. He is 97% on height, 80% on weight, and 95% on head. Not bad for our little buddy.
Thanks to all of you who commented on the blog, Facebook, and Twitter over the past week regarding the announcement of our second baby. The due date has tentatively been set for May 15, 2009 (I say tentatively because we have another doctor’s appointment soon). Grandparents have put an order in for a baby girl, and so have some friends here in Cape Coral. We’ll just have to wait and see!
This past week I have been working on another blog project and trying to get it up to speed (in regards to church planting). I hope to plug it soon (still loading up content). I will also be working on the development and content of GBC’s new website which we hope to go live in the very near future. The church’s website will have a ton of features which I am excited about.
In the meantime, you can catch all my photos on my Flickr page, my random life updates on my Twitter, and an engaging October in blogging here at P&P. Have a great weekend!

Wha? Timmy, what is this? I thought you were a Tiger. Happy Halloween? April Fools!?! This isn’t right!
September 27, 2008 at 9:21 am
Haha! All Tigers, especially SEC Tigers are not allowed on the premises, including on Halloween.
Good to hear from you Joe!

Timmy,
If you keep abusing that poor child by dressing him like that, eventually Child and Family Services is going to take him away.

I will find a way to get that little guy some Auburn atire! I hope all is well with you and your family. Next time you are in North Alabama, let me know. I am up there frequently and would love to sit and talk. Have a BLESSED one!

Hey Daniel!
Great to hear from you man. Yeah, I would love to catch up with you sometime, but unfortunately will not be back in North Alabama until the holidays. Send my regards to your family for me, and no, we will not be dressing our son in those socially unacceptable colors!
