I thought this little sequence of photos was quite telling of how precious our little son is! In just a few hours, I will be picking Dusti and Nolan up at the airport (I haven’t seen them in a week!), so I am really excited. This past Sunday, Nolan cut his first tooth, and a second one is coming in as well. I am continually blown away by the goodness of God displayed in my wife and son.
This week was officially my first week serving here at Grace Baptist Church, and I am loving every minute of it. For Memorial Day, I enjoyed the company of about 50 members at a get together which allowed me great opportunities to meet more people. In my spare time, I showcased my ping-pong skills, challenging and defeating all contenders. But seriously, I love my church and cannot wait to raise my family here. The love, prayer, encouragement, and support that we have received already has been overwhelming. We have yet to hear on the offer we made on the house, so technically we will be homeless for a while. But in the meantime, God is showering the kindness and hospitality of His people on us in ways we could have never imagined, for which we are especially grateful.
This coming Sunday, I start the first week of teaching on evangelism, and I am really pumped about it. I am thinking about posting some of the stuff here in the future. Depending on my schedule and study time, my blogging will be pulled back some in order that I devote the best of my day in the study of the Word and serving His people. I know you will understand.
Have a fantastic weekend everyone!
