Thanks for bringing us back to the Source. We get so embroiled in the mechanics of this world that we often forget who is in control of it. Why are we so surprised that much of it is evil and corrupt? Lucifer is having his way in every country, neighborhood, family and church that rejects our Lord. Let us pray that the hand of God’s protection stays over America. Without it we are just another history lesson waiting to play out. May God bless America and may we be grateful when He does.

1 John 5:19 We know that we are children of God, and that the whole world is under the control of the evil one.

Ecl 8:14-17 read all but this part sustains me the most – nothing is better for a man under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany him in his work.

Amen, Brother! I cannot add anything to what you so beautifully stated. Reminds me of Rutherford’s “The Sands of Time are Sinking”, my favorite hymn. Or how about this one? “This world is not my home, I’m just a’passin’ through; my treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue.” I just discovered your blog through a note in Banner of Truth magazine.
