I thought about changing the title, “So easy a baby can read it” but I went for the more lame title. I do, however, keep the Puritan Paperbacks close to the crib as I hope Nolan comes to find them as his best friends as he grows up. 🙂
I believe these photos were taken during my unscheduled crash course in parenting this past weekend. My wife came down with a stomach virus, and suddenly I was stuck in the living room trying to figure out what to do next. She is doing better, and yes, I survived. Actually, I think Nolan and I managed quite well, although I am sure he missed his mommy!
In other news, this Puritan Reading Challenge deal has become a big undertaking. I’m must say that I am a bit nervous! I just don’t want it to fizzle out and lose interest as the year goes along. The initial interest has been amazing, and I am looking forward to discussions next week!
For a totally random link, check this out which I sent to a few of my SBC friends. As a teetotaler, I found it kind of funny. They are telling me it is time to get in shape. 🙂
Some of you may remember me asking about blogging through a paper I recent wrote regarding the mission of the Holy Spirit in the world. I have broken it down into about 12 parts and will call the series “Who’s Afraid of Jesus Christ?” – a play off a book called Who’s Afraid of the Holy Spirit? While the series will be a little more academic than usual, I think the issue important enough to be discussed here.
Although I have not been able to update Nolan’s World this past week, be sure to check it out in the days to come as I plan on resuming my pictournal (picture journal). Here’s one I took the other day as he was figuring out the thumb-sucking thing:
Hope you all (ya’ll if you are from Alabama) have a wonderful weekend!
