Yet if you've cared for them and never shared the gospel with them, you never really cared for them. Who knows what fundies will do, but I think most evangelicals today realize that it's not an either-or thing. Unfortunately a lot of liberals have made that discovery. He may have stated this more clearly in the whole article, but just in case, this should be said:
