Thank You, Tim!
Earlier today I was made aware that Tim Challies has deemed P&P “King for a Week“–an honor he bestows on blogs that he feels are making a valuable contribution to his faith and the faith of other believers or sometimes just because he really likes them. It is a way of introducing his readers to blogs that they may also find interesting and edifying.
Thank you, Tim, for considering my blog worthy of such an honor. To those of you who may stumble upon this blog for the first time, let me say “Welcome.” I hope that you find this blog a helpful resource and encouragement in stimulating thought (provocations) and scintillating affections (pantings). Now I suppose I should write something good now. 
On an administrative note, I should mention that I took an old post from last year on gospel-centered resources and placed it as a “page” on the sidebar. This page is dedicated to gospel-centered resources (books, blogs, articles, media, etc.) and will be updated on a regular basis.

Thank you Gretchen! I got the message while I was in class. I hope to pick up those books sometime this week (and the other ones of Dr. Plummer’s dissertation).
Oh, and I just noticed that you had the Smoothie King blog on your blogroll. Are you a fan? I had the Power Punch Plus yesterday. I’ve been hooked on them since 1999! Nobody does smoothies like Smoothie King. Nobody.
