Tristan,

There is a movement in the SBC to label Driscoll and Acts 29 as liberal, emergent, compromisers, etc. Fundamentalists, SBC or not, choose not to look at what God is doing through this brother, and choose to look and highlight only his faults. In reality, both fundamentalists and the those in the SBC like Roger Moran are dead wrong, as this conference shows. That was my point in the comment.

I haven't always been a supporter of Driscoll, as I believed the first things I heard of him by other people. Then I checked him out for myself and realized that he is not only someone I like and appreciate, he has been unfairly treated by his Christian brothers. That is not to say he is perfect or I like everything he does. Rather, that is to say I believe he is a man of God doing a good work for the kingdom who needs our prayers and should receive our support.

I guess I don't understand the correlation. Why does the number of attendees to his seminar say anything about whether or not Driscoll is "liberal"? I tend to agree that he isn't, I'm just not sure what your saying. Honest question. Thanks.
