Mark,

I saw that yesterday. Thank you. I didn't see the comment as I believe it was deleted. In any case, I hope his new blog goes well. I just didn't want people to be confused with him and me since he took my blog name and description but was saying very different things.

Again, I appreciate your initiative and willingness to do that for me.

I anonymously posted a comment on your imitators' site and gracefully informed him that it seems apparent that he copied your site name and notation. I didn't know if it was going to fall on deaf ears, but I went to his site today and he did take it seriously, by creating a new site. Although he left his old site up, I think it was a step in the right direction. It might have been a little better if he had exhibited a little humility as to the reason why he created a new site rather than simply saying "he's going through a lot." However, I do at least give him marginal credit for the resolution.

Brandon,

I know it's a late comment coming, but I will address your RAW vs. JPEG question soon. I can't guarantee anything spectacular, but I think it will help. A little. :)

Nathan,

Probably, but I've got the free version of WordPress (.com, not .org), and I cannot edit my code or mess with HTML. I'm just not as cool as you guys. One of these days I grow up out of the elementary principles of the blogosphere. The milk of the internet has too long been a substitute for the meat.

Timmy said: My blog header dimension is 740×180.

Timmy, per our last conversation about wordpress stuff, you might be able to modify this size. On my wordpress blog, I made the header much bigger in order to better fit some of my favorite pics. Just a thought.

Timmy,

I have a request for your next post on photography. Would you mind explaining the differences between shooting in RAW vs. JPEG format? I had someone mention it to me the other day, but never got a great explanation of what the advantages were for either of them.

thanks,

Eric and Dan,

I saw that post and didn't take the time to see that it was from DG. I did however see the stat counter marked for November 2007. I have heard of people copying styles or themes, but this is the first time where someone has actually taken my blog name (and by-line) and used them as their own. I want to be nice to the fellow, but I don't want people to think that we are one and the same (nevermind the plagiarism issue).
