Provocations & Pantings

So I couldn’t make it to Dallas for the big day today, so I have to take a moment and give a hearty “Congrats!” to my friends Ben and Julie on their wedding day.  For the past three years in seminary, Ben has been a wonderful encouragement to me, and I rejoice with them in what God has done in bring he and Julie together in the covenant of marriage.  It doesn’t hurt that he is a huge Bama fan as well (Roll Tide!).  Anyway, as I mentioned earlier, Ben and Julie were kind of enough to let me take some pre-wedding photos a couple of weeks ago, and you can watch them in a Flickr slide show if you wish.  Rumor has it that, since Ben flew to Rome to propose to Julie at St. Peter’s Square, they booked two tickets to the Space Station for their honeymoon.  That put’s a whole new spin to the word “honey-moon” doesn’t it?   

Seriously, Ben and Julie, we love you and celebrate the union God has blessed for His glory and your enjoyment.
